Dementia is a debilitating condition that robs patients of their memories and leaves them feeling lost and alone. However, innovative activities offer a ray of hope for dementia patients, allowing them to rediscover joy and connection.

Studio classes are limited to Adult Sachem Cardholders Only, unless otherwise noted. Registered adults may be accompanied by a teen age 16 or above.

 "Paddling Around Paumanok: A Kayak Trip Around Long Island to Home" is a personal narrative about a journey of day paddling trips over three years around the whole of Long Island, starting and ending on the Peconic River behind my home.
