Join Glenn Andreiev for a viewing of his film Long Island Joins the Space Race followed by a Q&A segment.

The Lunar Module that transported two Astronauts to the moon in July, 1969 was built right here on Long Island. Long Island Joins The Space Race is an independent feature length documentary that tells of the engineers and the now primitive technology they used to create this most fantastic voyage. Filmmaker Glenn Andreiev, whose father was part of the Lunar Module team, uses rare archival footage as well as interviews with Apollo engineers to bring us close up to The Moon. Featuring a score by Moontide. (2023, 75 mins)
