The New York State Security Guard Certification Class is offered for free through The Long Island Educational Opportunity Center (LIEOC).

This course provides the highest quality training in the lifesaving skills of CPR and how to use an AED. The course empowers students to act with confidence in the event of an emergency at work, home, or in the community.

Local ukers and uke-crazed wanna-be musicians of all levels are invited to jam at these monthly sessions led by Louise Martin of the LI Ukulele Strummers Club. No registration required.
