Investigate the components of string instruments, the purpose of each part, how to change the pitch of musical notes, and learn to tune an instrument. Use that knowledge to construct your own box guitar. 

Put on your listening ears and head over to the library for song, stories, rhymes and a craft that center around our diverse community. Registration required.

Grades 1 to 5, register by phone or in person at the Children's Reference Desk. These positive and supportive sessions are especially helpful to children who are struggling to read.
