His journey is an amazing tale of early struggle, failure, a comeback win of the U.S. presidency, a resounding landslide re-election win, followed by the Watergate scandal and a resignation in disgrace. The discussion of his consequential presidency will include the major achievements of the foreign policy tandem of Nixon and Henry Kissinger, their management and ending of the Vietnam War, and the Nixon domestic policies.
