Eldercare Attorney Kim Smith will discuss the significant changes to Community Medicaid Eligibility for Home Care Services and how you can preserve your assets if you were to require care in your home. The change of law is effective October 1, 2020, whereby the biggest change is the implementation of a thirty (30) month look back period requirement for those applying for Home Care Community Medicaid. Up until now, there has been no look back requirement for Community Medicaid benefits.
