Job seekers who are planning on attending our Job Fair on Tuesday, February 28 are invited to join representatives from the Suffolk County Department of Labor to prep their resumes, interview skills, and gain general job-seeking advice. 

The workshop will cover:

  • A brief overview of the services provided by the Suffolk County Department of Labor, Licensing and Consumer Affairs.
  • Tips for effective résumé writing.
  • Tips for giving a great job interview.
  • Professional attire during an interview.
  • The elevator pitch.
  • Mock interviews.
  • Professional conduct in the workplace.
