April marks the 75th anniversary of Jackie Robinson joining the Brooklyn Dodgers and breaking the unwritten rule that restricted Black players from Major League Baseball. Robinson ignited a dramatic change in the landscape of the game and the country, surviving a storm of racial abuse to lead the Dodgers to the top of the National League.
