The 53rd Annual NYC Pride Parade will take place on the last  Sunday of June. Entertainment historian John Kenrick will mark this milestone by looking back at the special role the gay community has played in world history and mainstream American entertainment, as well as the beginning of the gay rights movement. John promises an informative, humorous and patriotic celebration of a colorful and sometimes misunderstood tradition.
