How to use psychology to build better habits and improve your health

Abstract: This two-hour workshop will teach you how to use psychologically-proven techniques to promote desirable habits and eliminate unwanted habits in order to improve your health. Specifically, this workshop will help you develop techniques to improve habits related to diet and exercise, as well as other relevant behaviors such as excessive social media use or insufficient time devoted to sleep. Other behaviors that can be managed with the techniques taught in this workshop (e.g., reading, meditation, disconnecting from email/work…) will be discussed based on attendees’ personal interests.
