desTEENation Friday Nights: Paint the Sound: Music and Art (Zoom)

How can you paint the rhythm of a drum or the sound of a piano? This live IN-Person Zoom tour and workshop will explore the ways in which modern artists such as Pollock, Matisse, Mondrian, and others were inspired by the Jazz age. Following a presentation and tour of the barn studio of the Pollock-Krasner House, artist Joyce Raimondo will demonstrate techniques for creating abstract art inspired by music.  Paint and drawing supplies will be provided by the library.
