The Career and Films of Clint Eastwood (In Person)

As both an actor and a director, Clint Eastwood’s long and storied career has brought us some of the most iconic characters and in Hollywood history. He rose to international fame with his role as the "Man with No Name" in Sergio Leone's "Dollars Trilogy" of Spaghetti Westerns during the mid-1960s and as antihero cop Harry Callahan in the Dirty Harry throughout the 1970s and 1980s. An Academy Award nominee for Best Actor, he won Best Director and Best Picture for his Western Unforgiven (1992) and his sports drama Million Dollar Baby (2004), among many of his acclaimed directed that we will examine in this class.
