A 12 year-old boy turns a mountain of grass into a mountain of cash the summer he starts a lawn-mowing business in this short (88 pages), hilarious Gary Paulsen tale.   

Please read the book before coming to the program. Talk about the book as you play your way around a room-sized game board. Roll giant dice and land on squares with story-related questions and funny stunts. Snacks included!

Book can be picked up at the Library or mailed to you: please provide current mailing address when you register. 

  • Until restrictions are lifted, patrons may register for two programs
  • Restrictions will be lifted on Tuesday, November 25.
  • Patrons are encouraged to use their child’s Sachem Public Library card to register their child for programs.
